This is a 1959 RED "S" 222K Featherweight that was carefully used for a short period of time and then stored for decades. It has almost no usage marks.
The finish glows. The decals are complete and shine brightly. The machine sews a nice stitch. The light works. The bobbin winder winds bobbins. Everything on the machine works as it should.
The red vinyl attachments case is an original 222K attachments case.
THE 120 VOLTAGE MOTOR OPERATES SMOOTHLY. THIS 222K FEATHERWEIGHT WILL OPERATE IN THE USA AND CANADA. NO VOLTAGE ADAPTER IS NEEDED. The sewing machine is ready to just plug in and play.
The serial number of this Featherweight is EP759509 This dates the machine to December 18, 1959.
There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.

The sewing bed is removable providing a 2" arm.
