This original 1954 Singer 222K / 222 Featherweight is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The black finish is bright and shiny. Decals are complete. A gorgeous Singer 222K.

The serial number of this beautiful 1954 Singer 222K Featherweight is EJ618239 which dates this machine to March 31, 1954.
The machine sounds lovely and sews a nice stitch. It is a sewing machine that has been well cared for.
As with all the Featherweights we sell this 222K / 222 has been serviced, cleaned and tested for sewing. It is ready to sew upon arrival at the purchasers home. Just plug it in and play.
The photographs are of the listed Singer 222 Featherweight. It is in fabulous condition as can be seen in the photographs.
NO VOLTAGE ADAPTER IS NEEDED. The sewing machine is ready to just plug in and play in both the USA and Canada.
The chromed sew / darn lever plate is original for all EJ serial numbered Singer 222K as well as the early EK serial numbered 222K machines,
The sewing bed on 222K Featherweights is removable so that the machine can be used as a freearm sewing machine.
The feed dogs can be lowered to allow for free motion sewing.
The machine is in wonderful condition as can be seen in the photographs.
Everything works as it should.
All 222K Featherweights have graduated throat plates.
The case is in very good clean condition.
The included attachments and manual are shown in the photo. The manual has had the cover replaced and is missing pages 1 and 2.
The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine.
Singer 222K Featherweights are considered by many to be the best sewing machine that Singer ever produced.
